How much does it cost to challenge a fine in court

Drivers who have received a fine can appeal to court against the infringement report by following the steps required by law and paying a stamp duty.

Any report of ascertainment of the violation can be challenged in court, within 15 days from the date of its delivery or communication, inform Avocatnet.

The complaint against the report is charged with 20 lei, according to GEO n. 80/2013.

According to Gabriela Pintea, legal advisor and consultant of the AvocatNet.ro Forum, the compensation is fixed and does not depend in any way on the type of offense against which the complaint is filed.

The same amount of 20 lei will be paid in case the offender resorts to the decision of the court with which the complaint was resolved, the specialist also explained.
