On November 17, Latin America added a new player to the streaming services segment with the arrival of the Disney platform, which comes to compete with established rivals like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. How many series and movies can be seen on Disney Plus?
Content varies from region to region, as with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Perhaps one of the few exceptions is Apple TV Plus, which at 100% of its original content shares the same series and movies almost everywhere in the world.
At launch in Latin America, Disney Plus includes more than 500 films, 350 series and 26 original Disney + productions.
Most of the content is available everywhere, but there may be slight differences depending on where you live or watch Disney Plus. (For example, someone hires Disney Plus in Argentina or Mexico and travels to the US, they will have slightly different content).
These differences may be due to region-specific creative approaches or rights issues that could make some content unavailable for streaming in some markets.

Over the weeks and months, Disney Plus will add continuing original content, including the Marvel series “WandaVision” (premiere January 15, 2021), “Falcon and The Winter Soldier” and “Loki”, among other big bets.
One of the great advantages of Disney Plus over other platforms such as Netflix is that it allows unlimited downloads on up to ten devices, with Full HD or 4K (when available) picture quality, the ability to play on up to four devices simultaneously time and create up to seven profiles.
