If you’re running out of ideas when it comes to buying a new smartphone, Samsung has some interesting mainstream offerings, Galaxy A12 and Galaxy A02s, illustrated in the images below.
As 2021 approaches, manufacturers are starting to use the new suffix in marketing materials for new terminals. For this reason, the two announced smartphones are now part of the Galaxy A series (2021).
The Samsung Galaxy A12 pictured above is the updated version of the A11 released in March. The new gadget is built around a 6.5-inch HD + panel with a decent notch at the top of the screen for the 8MP front camera. The processing part is a combination of an octa-core with 1.8 GHz and 2.3 GHz cores and 3 GB, 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM, depending on your budget. The amount of internal memory is 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. There is also a microSD card slot.
Galaxy A12 can be purchased in four colors with suggestive names and has a fingerprint sensor on the side. On the back, for the capture part, it has a 48MP main, a 5MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro and a sensor for measuring depth. The battery is 5000 mAh and recharges quickly with 15W. The purchase price starts at 179 euros and for 20 euros more you double the internal memory.
Perhaps the cheapest Samsung smartphone of the latest generation is the Samsung Galaxy A02s, a successor to the Galaxy A1 launched in December last year. It’s built around a 6.5-inch panel with HD + resolution and uses an internally clocked 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450. The smartphone has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. You can use a microSD card up to 1TB to expand the memory.
For capture, you have four cameras, a 5MP one for selfies and a 13MP main one, on the back, plus a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The battery is also 5000mAh and is charged at 15W. With such a combination, it is unlikely to be charged more often than two days. The purchase price is 150 euros, but it will arrive in stores only in February next year.
