A medical facility said it had reduced the price of the Corona exam from AED 175 to AED 99, by nearly 50%, indicating that “the price cut strengthens measures to prevent the virus.”
And the Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Center in Abu Dhabi started applying new fees for the “Covid-19” (BCR) exam, worth 110 dirhams, at the end of last week.
And some hospitals and medical centers still maintain Corona exam prices at the levels recorded last month, as the exam value reaches 175 dirhams, after it had been 250 dirhams.
And Emirates Today monitored the provision of medical facilities with exclusive discounts to specific groups of citizens, particularly domestic workers, to encourage families to visit them constantly.
Hospitals have stated they want to reduce the price of the exam to increase the number of preventive examinations to detect “Corona”, encouraging employees, especially those in professions that deal with the public daily, to conduct it, as well as encouraging families to conduct it. for housework on a regular basis.
Abu Dhabi citizens and residents have welcomed the reduction in the price of the Corona exam to these levels, considering that this encourages them to conduct regular audits and helps reduce the financial cost of those whose jobs require it to be performed periodically.
They suggested that there should be a unified price for examination to be carried out by state-level medical facilities and centers and for breaching facilities that lead it away from the established prices.
It is worth noting that the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Committee recently conducted an update on the requirements for entry into the emirate, in order to strengthen precautionary measures for the early detection of new infections from Coronavirus.
Under the requirements, residents and visitors entering the emirate are required to conduct a nasal swab examination on the fourth day for those whose stay extends for four consecutive days and, in the event that they remain in the emirate for eight days or plus, they have to undergo an additional examination on the eighth day.
Abu Dhabi residents and visitors will continue to be permitted entry into the emirate upon submission of a negative “PCR” or “DPI” test result within 48 hours of receiving the result.
