Argentine police broke into the homes of three people who took photos with the body of football legend Diego Maradona inside the headquarters of one of the largest burial companies in Argentina.

Police entered their homes, accompanied by members of the Buenos Aires prosecutor’s office at the same time, Friday night, and 3 cell phones, a laptop, a USB storage drive and T-shirts were seized while taking photos.

The three people were summoned for questioning by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, but were not arrested because the potential crimes committed were not criminal.

They were accused of “a possible violation of the inviolability of a corpse” and of “violation of personal rights” in principle, for having photographed Maradona’s body inside the headquarters of the “Sepelios Pinier”, the most famous in Argentina for the procession and funeral of the dead.

Interestingly, the three worked for the company and were tasked with taking care of the body of the soccer star, who died last Wednesday at the age of 60 after suffering a heart attack.

The company had decided to fire the three employees.

Also, one such person, Claudio (48), received numerous threats on the phone from a group of Argentine Juniors fans, for whom Maradona was playing.

Claudio apologized for not taking the photos and one appears next to his 18-year-old son.

And the images that have been around the world and are the only ones showing the star’s face after his death in the coffin, have caused a sensation in Argentina.

And the news spread in the media that one of the people who photographed Maradona’s body was killed.
