The Wet Bandits were again kicked off a property by young Kevin McCallister during the holiday season … because someone went out of their way to bring “Home Alone” to life in their crib … almost literally.
The house in question is decked out with perhaps the most EPIC Christmas decoration setup ever seen … with this homeowner going above and beyond to recreate some of the most iconic scenes and instant moments of Macaulay Culkinclassic comedy of 1990.
They also have life-sized figurines of the three main characters – little Kevin is on the roof with his memorable painting can booby trap … while Marv and Harry try to escape from the porch below. Not exactly how things went in the film, but close enough.
If you recall, Kevin actually throws the paint cans from inside the huge Chicago-based McCallister mansion, throwing them over the stair railing and hitting each crook in the head to knock them back to the first story.
There are multiple movie decorations throughout the house, including the Michael Jordan cardboard cutout Kevin used to make bandits believe someone was home … plus the front page of the paper showing that Marv and Harry had escaped from prison. Whoever shot it also had the good sense to throw it Brenda Lee“Rockin” Around the Christmas Tree “as background music … an important song featured in” Home Alone “.
Oh, and who could forget the classic fake film noir line Kevin used to scare people – like an unwitting pizza guy – and also … “Angels with Filthy Souls”, which had the best slogan ever?!? This too makes a cameo here, in spirit (and signage).
Merry Christmas, you lousy animal !!! Ah … it never gets old.
