Dr Khaled Mujahid, the Minister of Health and Population Advisor for Media Affairs and an official spokesperson for the ministry, said 421 new cases have been recorded that have tested positive in laboratory tests of the virus, as part of the necessary procedures. of surveillance, investigation and examination that the ministry conducts according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, indicating the death of 28 new cases.
Mujahid said that according to the World Health Organization recommendations issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
Mujahid said the total number recorded in Egypt with the new Corona virus to date, Wednesday, is 116724 cases, including 102,949 cases that have been treated and 6694 deaths.
