Former Olympic wrestler and mixed martial artist, Benjamin Michael Askren, nicknamed “Funky”, took to Twitter today for To share his opinion on why he thinks Bitcoin is increasing in value. He implied that the premium cryptocurrency was only rising in value because the US dollar was losing its own. In her tweet on November 17, the American celebrity said:
Many people don’t realize Bitcoin it only increases in value. The dollar only falls in value.
Over the past few weeks, Bitcoin has led the cryptocurrency rally and has returned to a new 2020 high as it finally violated the $ 17,000 mark earlier today.
This isn’t the first time Askren has commented on the world’s oldest cryptocurrency. The martial arts superstar owns Bitcoin of his own and has even got another UCF fighter (former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez) to invest in Bitcoin. As a result, Alvarez now owns 1 Bitcoin and even tweeted saying he could no longer remain aloof. At the time, however, Alvarez admitted that he was not in the dark about Bitcoin.
