The test embargo on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has dropped and this also means that we can now tell you how long it took to conclude the main story of the Viking adventure. So much ahead: You certainly don’t expect a short pleasure here, instead an even longer adventure awaits you than the predecessor Odyssey.
Duration of the game from AC Valhalla
We finished Valhalla on standard difficulty and recorded the following playtime:
- 55 hours for the main story
Anyone who undertakes the numerous side activities in the Open World of Valhalla, for example denying raids or defeating the optional bosses, can obviously spend much more time here.
Duration of the game on the difficulty level easy and hard (via Powerpyx):
- Easy difficulty level: about 40 hours for the main story
- Difficulty level difficult: about 100 hours and more for the main story
If you want to complete AC Valhalla 100%, i.e. collect all missions and activities as well as all collectibles and all trophies / achievements, you need to plan around 120 hours according to Powerpix.

AC Valhalla will arrive on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC on November 10th. The PS5 version will open on November 19, 2020.
