In the iPhone 12 series, consisting of the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max models, selling prices start at 9,000 999 TL and rise to 19,000 999 TL.
These figures, which are the recommended final consumer price, include legal deductions, notably VAT and SCT. In fact, between 39% and 43% of the money consumers pay for the iPhone 12 goes to the state. Although this rate varies depending on the model and deposit option, it means that an amount of up to 8,000 TL is paid to the state as a tax.

According to news from Habertürk’s Necdet Çalışkan, 4,000 217 TL of the price of the 64GB iPhone 12 mini, which is the cheapest iPhone 12 model, 9,000 999 TL, is VAT and other legal fees.
7,000 905 TL of the 19,000 999 TL price of the 512GB iPhone 12 Pro Max, which is the most expensive iPhone 12 model, goes to taxes. In other words, those who buy this model of iPhone pay the state a figure that is worth the new Sony PlayStation 5 (PS5) game console in a single article.
Taxes on imports from the iPhone 12 series are as follows: 50% SCT, 18% VAT, 10% TRT banderol, 1% Deduction from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
