The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed that students with anemia and stunting are transferred, on the initiative of the President of the Republic, to health insurance clinics, to complete the necessary exams and provide free treatment.

The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that these students are given a “follow-up card” containing their data, to follow them periodically and continuously check their health conditions, through 250 health insurance clinics in all governorates. of the Republic.

The ministry indicated that all precautionary and preventive measures were taken during the initiative in light of the state’s confrontation with the emerging corona virus, noting that the investigation is being conducted throughout the year to prevent overcrowding among students. and health education teams in governorates provide students with awareness of how to adhere to precautionary measures to preserve their health. Noting that hotline “106” has been designated to respond to citizens’ inquiries regarding the initiative.

Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, announced the examination of one million 432 thousand and 852 students in various schools in the Republic, as part of the initiative of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, for the early diagnosis of diseases ( anemia, obesity and stunting) among primary school students, from its launch in early November, coinciding with the start of the New School Year, until the first Sunday.
