In an interview with People magazine, actor Rafael Amaya – star of the “Lord of the Skies” series – was honest and talked about his addictions, which today seem to be outdated.

Amaya ended the series and began a journey full of excess: “I am a human being, I am not a robot. I let myself be carried away by alcohol, banalities, I was blinded by the dark cloak of drug addiction ”.

He himself admits that he hurt friends and family with his attitude, but it was they who saved him from the hole he fell into.

Mexican singer Roberto Tapia, Fátima – sister of the actor who gave birth to Aurelio Casillas – and his manager Karem Guedimin lied to him about returning to Mexico. Once there, he was admitted to the rehabilitation clinic of former boxer Julio César Chávez.

“My partner was in bad shape, but he hoped someone would help him”Tapia told People.

Chávez told the same media that Amaya “came a little psychotic, still believing she was the lord of heaven. But the days have passed and now the months, and Rafa’s evolution has been incredible ”.

Now, the actor says he is ready to return to the screens. He acknowledges that although his trial is ending, the struggle is for life.

“I am deeply grateful to all people and to God, who is the one who has the reins of my life, I just didn’t realize it because I was anesthetized and didn’t feel anything,” he says.
