“Hard and Hot”: Elvis reveals – the Benz Barracks documentary is so real

In a new episode of “Simply Elvis” The man from Mannheim answers some questions from fans on Facebook. Among other things, his followers want to know from him how real is the social documentary of RTLZWEI “Hartz und cordially” is. Elvis never belittles his answers, not even with this question. He explains: “We are a reality show. There is no plan somehow, ah tomorrow at that time a cameraman will come ‘oo o. No, the cameramen come when they come and catch us red-handed. Nothing is set, either according to plan, or after a turn. We don’t have a script, we don’t have a text – it’s all true! Like I said, if they come at 7am and catch me snoring in bed, then I’m there. They are not alone with us every day, there are other protagonists. Sometimes there, sometimes there. They are always like two teams. Sometimes I’m with Beate, sometimes with Dagmar, sometimes with Simone, sometimes with Petra (…). They come as they come. There are no plans for this and that’s what matters to us. Nothing is in place.“

Mannheim: Too many fans in the Benz barracks – Elvis is stressed out

Another fan question is what celebrity life is like. Elvis makes it clear that he doesn’t see himself as a celebrity. Sure, only more people know him, but he’s not a real star. The 48-year-old also explains that getting known isn’t that easy. In other episodes of “Simply Elvis”, the man from Mannheim has already admitted it in too many Visitors in Benz Barracks to come. Again and again he must appeal to his followers to please. He also explains that sometimes there are unpleasant encounters with fans, some of which are really offensive to him and his family. Elvis admitted Wednesday (Nov 25) that it was stressful at times – he still enjoyed being in front of the camera.

From now on, “Hartz and cordial” will air every Wednesday at 3pm. Mannheim’s popular social documentary came in prime time for a while, but has now been changed again by the broadcaster. (jol)
