Google Photos: alternatives for image backups

[ad_1]

Google not only gives users more than six months to find alternatives. You can also keep all images that were uploaded from your device before June 1, 2021. Therefore, no acute data loss is expected, as Google does not arbitrarily delete anything beyond 15 gigabytes free.

This gives you the ability to upload all important images via Google Photos for a while and then make the backup as large as possible. However, this is not a permanent solution, as new files cannot be added after they expire.
If that’s not enough, you can always opt for the payment method: for a fair 20 euros per year you get 100 gigabytes of storage space – with an average file size of 4 MB per photo, you can save over 25,000 images. But if you record a lot of videos, this space could quickly get tight.
