Just yesterday we talked about many news that are coming to Google Maps. However, it appears that this hasn’t made Google bend its arms. Having received some sort of social network, now is the time to get a new listing. It’s called Go Tab and it will make life a lot easier for users. Basically, it makes life easier for drivers who use Google Maps and have to travel the same route over and over again. Go Tab has details of the most common trips so you can redo them with just one click.
Google Maps: There is great news for drivers!
According to Google, to access this tab, just hit the Go button in the lower right corner of the screen. Just like if you were to introduce a destination. As soon as you are directed to a list that also shows previous trips, you will see that some are highlighted. With another click you can access more details of your past trips. Once you’ve found the trips you want to have on hand, you can save them for future reference. Plus, you can even view multiple travel forms. For example, if you sometimes go by car and sometimes by bus, you can check both methods of transportation for a single destination.
This novelty will be available starting today. Obviously, the availability is always gradual.
However, in addition to this novelty, there is another very interesting one we talked about yesterday. To help people keep up with all the news, Google Maps has added a community feed for the area you are in. It is located in the Explore tab. But let’s take a look at these and many other new features that Google Maps has received.
The feed shows the latest reviews, photos and posts added to Google Maps. Updates are added by local experts. The same for the people who follow. Or even food and drink vendors. Google also says that Maps users will be able to see some multimedia articles in the feed. The goal is undoubtedly to keep people updated on the latest changes. For example, articles about a new dish that has been added to a restaurant.
This community feed is undoubtedly a great way to keep up with all the news. But it’s also a great tool for businesses. This way they can interact more easily with customers. But only for verified activities. They can even talk to customers and ask questions.
