Based on user feedback, Google aggregates a ranking of the best apps for Android devices every year. The 2020 edition of the top has just been published.

Disney + is considered the best mobile application of 2020. Unfortunately, the streaming service is not available in many parts of the world, but those who have access to it are very excited about both the reliability of the platform and the content behind it. Winners of this year’s awards presented by Google include Zoom, Bad Boys for Life and Genshin Impact.

However, the annual top refers not only to applications that users enjoy, but also to programs that have benefited from positive feedback from Google publishers. Also, there is a top 10 for movies, series and books. To see the full list of winners in all categories, you can access this link on the company’s official blog.

The most popular game of 2020 is SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off. The film in the first place is Bad Boys for Life, while the book that caused a sensation in 2020 is the novel If If Bleed by the famous Stephen King.

Google publishers have their own rankings. According to them, the most impressive application of the last 12 months was Loona, dedicated to relaxation before bed. The game in the first place is Genshin Impact, an adventure creation that took inspiration quite effectively from Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

As for the films, the publishers of Google Play loved Bill & Ted Face the Music, but also Just Mercy, Miss Juneteenth, Onward and, inevitably, Parasite. This year’s list of books of interest, at least in the United States, included Barack Obama’s A Promised Land, Allie Brosh’s Solutions and Other Problems or Alexis Daria’s You Had Me at Hola.

In the category of special awards, Chris Hemsworth won for his presence in the Center’s application dedicated to nutrition and fitness. ShareTheMeal of the United Nations was named the best app for doing good to other people. Sky: Children of the Light and Gray was awarded among the most interesting indie games. In the competitive title category, accolades went to Legends of Runeterra, Gwent and Brawlhalla.
