Eyefluence was founded in 2013 and has received $ 21.6 million in investments from Intel Capital, Jazz Venture Partners, Motorola Solutions Venture Capital and NHN Investment, notes Go4it.
Most likely, the technology developed by Eyefluence will be used in virtual reality and augmented reality devices, but also in possible future smart scaling models.
The technology allows the user to navigate menus and make selections simply by moving their eyes. Basically, a person’s eyes are used like a mouse.
As with other Google acquisitions, Eyefluence will most likely be closed, the employees taking over and the technology incorporated into the company’s products and services.
