When we talk about Samsung’s top ranges, we usually refer to the S and Galaxy Note ranges. But things are changing and soon the real kings will be the devices of the Fold line. In fact, there are already several equipment within this range. So, we have the original Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy Z Flip. Now the Korean giant is working on the successor of the latter, which will be called Galaxy Z Flip 2. In the meantime, information has arrived on the Internet revealing some technical specifications of this device.
Galaxy Z Flip 2: a big bomb for less money!
According to the Ice Universe leakster, the next generation of Galaxy Z Flip 2 smartphones will come with a panel with a high refresh rate. I mean, basically, 120Hz. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Samsung had already used it on the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
That said, the device’s 120Hz panel will represent a significant upgrade in terms of screen. Additionally, the leakster also mentioned narrower frames. Oddly, there is something curious. It is that the Ice Universe was referring to the name Galaxy Z Flip 3 for unknown reasons.
Finally, the foldable smartphone can come at a lower price than its predecessor. If so, we can see that the device works better than the original version. Obviously, there are no specific numbers yet, especially since this is an initial escape. However, the Galaxy Z Flip 2 is expected to have its official launch in mid-March 2021.
Additionally, Samsung is also working on a foldable and affordable smartphone called the Galaxy Z Flip Lite. Unfortunately, the information on the Lite version is scarce.
More information should arrive soon, not least because Samsung will pay close attention to this range. After all, Z will replace S.
