Andreas Gabalier’s appearance at the Pocher show causes outrage
On Tuesday night, the new show from comedy giants Oliver Pocher, Mario Barth and Chris Tall premiered on RTL. In “King of the Kids” two of the comedians compete in games, the third moderate. In the fourth and final show, all three battle it out, while Laura Wontorra takes over the restraint.
In games – all based on famous TV shows – like “Schlag den Stab”, “Die Shit-Gianten”, “I’m a star, he pushes me out of here”, “Look what’s the hammer” and “Bauer sucht Sau” Chris Tall and Mario Barth had a funny fight. In the end, Chris won the duel. But not all viewers on the net could earn something from the show. Some have criticized the fact that “The King of Kids” was simply a cheap copy of ProSieben’s hit “Schlag den Star”.
RTL program just copied?
But while some were bothered by it, another thing caused much more indignation: the appearance of Andreas Gabalier. The self-proclaimed folk rocker tried, among other things, the song “Driving Home for Christmas” – a bad idea, if many Twitter users have their way.

Indignation on the net for Gabalier on RTL
Most importantly, viewers complain that Andreas Gabalier is even being offered a platform on TV. Background: the musician is repeatedly attested to be close to right-wing ideas. But he doesn’t want to know anything. According to “Kurier” recently stated:
“Who likes or dislikes my music – I can’t choose. I’m a musician, not a politician.”

But viewers don’t care. However, you are bothered in large numbers by the appearance:
Looks like RTL didn’t do themselves a real favor with the musical host.
