Moto2 FT2: Schrötter back there
They did a great job in the IntactGP garage and put Marcel Schrötter’s bike back on the road after his crash. The German also seems fit enough to attack again. After the crash he had kept his right arm.
After the first two flying laps, he ranks eighth. The provisional best time marks Luca Marini.
Moto2 FT2: Martin engine defect
The last free practice of the day begins, already finished for Jorge Martin. The Kalex driver suffers from a technical defect in the run-out lap. Here the Triumph engine seems to have given up the ghost. Fortunately, Martin realizes the problem in time and drives to the side. The session can continue.

MotoGP FT2: Rossi only penultimate!
Stefan Bradl just missed the top 10 by 0.021 seconds, but with 11th place he is the best Honda rider this Friday. Because he leaves behind Takaaki Nakagami, who is twelfth. After the best time of the morning in this tight session, Miguel Oliveira was unable to surpass 13th place.
So he still has some work to do tomorrow. This is even more true for Alex Rins, who does not exceed 17th place. Today things went even worse for Valentino Rossi, penultimate at 1,862 seconds. The only substitute for driver Mika Kallio was slower.
MotoGP FT2: Zarco with the best time on Friday
Johann Zarco manages to secure the first place with a further increase to 1: 39.417 minutes and ends Friday’s training as the fastest. Maverick Vinales has to be satisfied with second place. It is 0.119 seconds from the best time. Aleix Espargaro finished third in Aprilia. Fabio Quartararo and Brad Binder complete the top 5.
Behind them are the world champions Joan Mir, Andrea Dovizioso, Pol Espargaro, Jack Miller and Franco Morbidelli. In tenth place, the latter is just 0.471 seconds behind the leader.
MotoGP FT2: two Ducatis in front
In the last few minutes everyone tries to step forward. That’s why we are now seeing a lot of soft tires, especially on the rear wheel. There is currently a double Ducati leadership. Zarco leads Miller with a best time of 1: 39.744 minutes. Vinales is in third place. Some drivers scored the best times in the red sector.
MotoGP FT2: the first time in 1:39
On fresh hard tires, Maverick Vinales recorded the first time under 1:40 with 1: 39.931 minutes and thus set the bar for the final phase of this training. Oliveira also scratches 1:40, but fails (again) by nine thousandths. Meanwhile, all but the Aprilie are up from FT1.
MotoGP FT2: new order
There is now more movement in the leaderboard. After Bradl, who was briefly ahead, Morbidelli can now smell the air as before. Oliveira has pushed between the two with a renewed increase. Cal Crutchlow, fourth, also improved.
In the last 15 minutes of the session we should see some more time attacks with fresh tires.
MotoGP FT2: Rossi also crashed
As if the day couldn’t get worse, Rossi has now fallen too. Like Nakagami, he was hit at turn 4. The Yamaha rider leaves with sagging shoulders, after all he doesn’t seem to be injured.
MotoGP FT2: KTM double top
Pol Espargaro is getting faster and faster with his new set of hard tires. He fought his way up to Oliveira’s session best time by 0.074 seconds and is second again. In the meantime, not much happens for Rossi, who is still only in 19th place with a gap of one second.

The last 30 minutes of training have begun. So let’s take a look at the ranking: Oliveira is ahead of Morbidelli, Nakagami, Pol Espargaro and Quartararo. Behind them Bradl, Miller, Zarco, Mir and Dovizioso. Seven riders failed to improve compared to the morning, including Oliveira, Vinales and the Aprilia duo.
MotoGP FT2: another fall
Nakagami crashed at turn 4. The Japanese immediately took his left hand, and his Honda was also hit a bit on the gravel. The crew then prepares the second bike in the pits.
Meanwhile, Nakagami was ousted by Morbidelli, who is now second. Oliveira is still in command, but the gaps are small. The first 3 are within 0.096 seconds.

Three riders are testing the hard-hard tire combination for the first time, including Fabio Quartararo. He moves to second place, but is immediately ousted by Takaaki Nakagami. The LCR Honda rider, also on the road with new tires, shortens the gap from Oliveira to 0.096 seconds.

Rins is back on track after his early crash. It has a fresh medium tire at the front and a fresh hard tire at the rear. But initially he fails to increase it. Rossi is also traveling with new tires. He is improving, but for the moment he still does not go beyond 20th place.
Meanwhile Oliveira sets a new session record. This is only slightly above his record in the first training session. The Portuguese shows no weaknesses in his home game so far.
MotoGP FT2: Bradl ahead for the moment
Morbidelli and Bradl are on the road with new tires and take advantage of it. They both overtook Zarco. Bradl’s new best session time is 1: 40.584 minutes. Both he and Morbidelli are already faster than in the first training session. In the general classification they occupy places five and six.
MotoGP FT2: the first times
All completed at least five laps. Johann Zarco leads the tableau with a time of 1: 40.723. Takaaki Nakagami and Aleix Espargaro follow in second and third place. The pace is even higher than in the morning. As many people initially focus on working with used tires, this is also not surprising and will certainly change over time.
