And he adds, you should also avoid eating celery before bed. True, celery is very useful for weight loss, but it is not recommended to eat it before bed, because it is a strong diuretic, which means going to the bathroom several times during the night, thus disturbing sleep.
And the expert points out that walnuts are high in fat, so it is preferable to eat them in the first half of the day. They contain starch and sugar, which strain the digestive system, and she says, “Fatty substances that are eaten at night take longer to digest, so they can lead to sleep disturbances rather than weight loss.”
