British researchers have discovered a close relationship between the consumption of large amounts of vitamins (A, E and D) and the reduction of infections and respiratory problems of all kinds and also protection from them.

The study, led by researchers at Imperial University London, included 6,115 adult participants suffering from previously undiagnosed breathing problems, according to (Erm News).

The team focused on examining the effect of the mentioned vitamins on the condition by dividing them into two groups, one of which is based on the consumption of vitamins from foods and the other from supplements.

The researchers found that “the consumption of vitamins A and E, through diet and supplementation, was associated with reduced breathing problems.”

They also found that “vitamin D was more effective when consumed from both sources, diet and supplements, rather than just focusing on foods.”

In addition to the importance of supplementation, experts recommend not neglecting to add rich natural sources of these vitamins to supplements to increase their levels in the body and relieve and protect against respiratory problems, be it asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, infections chest and others.

Major sources of vitamin A include liver, whole milk, and cheese, along with carrots, dark green leafy vegetables, and orange fruit.

The most important sources of vitamin E include vegetable oils, nuts and seeds, and the best natural sources of vitamin D are both fatty fish, such as salmon, sardines, tuna, egg yolks, red meat, oats, and products made from soy, along with milk and mushrooms.
