Find out how to transfer your data to PS5, including PT – Infofueguina demo

The new generation of Playstation is coming and obviously companies are clarifying more and more doubts. Now Sony has released a video explaining how to transfer data from PlayStation 4 to the new console, the long-awaited PlayStation 5.

Several ways to do this are presented. The surprise is to see the video because one of the methods could allow those who still have the PT demo, which can no longer be downloaded from the Store, to transfer it to the new PlayStation 5.

This particular system is the first shown in the video. The steps are very simple and according to Sony reports, this method passes all compatible games and applications to the new console WITHOUT having to download them from the Store, thanks to what they have called “backward compatibility”. See what they are:

Steps on PlayStation 4

Updating the system to the latest version is the first step.

You must log in with the account you wish to transfer information to. In this step we must be very careful, since if we start from an account that for example is not the one with the PS Plus subscription active, the licenses of the games that depend on that subscription will not be transferred, attention!

Steps on PlayStation 5

Log in with the same account that will be transferred from PlayStation 4. Connect to the same network as the PlayStation 4 that has the data to transfer, wired or Wi-Fi. To shorten the information transmission time, Sony offers the option of connecting both consoles via an Ethernet network cable.

Follow the instructions on the PlayStation 5 screen.

Once these steps are completed, your data will be transferred to the background so that you can use the PlayStation 5 system.
