Following the success of the first film, the team is preparing for the production and sequel of “Sonic the Hedgehog 2”.
Although it was a bit erratic at first for “Sonic the Hedgehog,” the film proved to be a surprisingly successful adaptation of one of the most popular video game series. The success now leads to a sequel, production of which will begin in the coming months.
A production called “Emerald Hill” was listed on the website of the BC Creative Film Commission, an organization that deals with film and television projects shot in British Columbia. As Sonic fans obviously know, this is a reference to “Sonic the Hedgehog 2”.
According to the site, filming will begin in March 2021 and is expected to be completed by May.
