The upgrade version is free, but if a player chooses it, they won’t be able to play with their friends if they stay with the lower version. Unfortunately, the PC version won’t benefit from these improvements, so only the lucky ones who have captured a PS5 or Xbox X or S Series console will be able to fully enjoy a great experience.
