FIFA 21 + Madden NFL 21: next generation release just weeks after consoles

[ad_1]

It was already clear that EA was going to bring its two best sports games FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21 to the new generation of consoles around PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, but now there is some disillusionment. Reason: The next generation release is relatively long!

If you want to buy a PS5 or Xbox Series X / S at the beginning of the sales and then start playing the current EA sports games, you have to be strong, because at first it won’t be possible. As Electronic Arts has now confirmed, the next-generation versions of FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21 begin just weeks after their respective console releases.

Both games should therefore only be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S from 4 December 2020. Reminder: Microsoft’s console will be available in this country from 10 November, Sony’s new platform will follow on 19 November. For fans of the two franchises this means: you have to wait a few weeks!

So there is also a premiere, so to speak, because for the first time the major titles of EA Sports do not arrive at the beginning of a new console on this same console as the FIFA series missed the launch of the original Xbox and the Xbox 360.

After all: Both games will be available as a free update from the date indicated, if you bought a version for PS4 or Xbox One. This update will be delivered to players in digital format. If you purchased a disc version, you must first redeem the update via the EA website.

The next generation versions receive various improvements, including significantly faster load times, even more realistic player movements and, on PS5, support for the touch features of the new DualSense controller.
