Even a queen does not have infinitely long strands of patience. After the “Megxit” earlier this year, Queen Elizabeth II called for a family debate. This should happen on Christmas of all times.

Queen Elizabeth II sat in silence for some 140 official portraits. So he can’t have that little patience. But: enough is enough.

During her months of quarantine in Windsor, the British queen had plenty of time to think. And it’s not just the crown pandemic that will have hit it hard.

After the “Megxit” – that is, the withdrawal of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan from the small circle of royalty – the mood within the royal family has been anything but good. Not just between the brothers Harry and William, who were once so close, there should be a fight ever since.

Group therapy for the celebration of love

Even between Meghan and the Duchess Kate should not only rule the blue, but above all the bad blood. The reason for all the arguments: Meghan and Harry had not previously coordinated their retreat with the royal family. In addition to the disappointment, this is said to have caused a lot of anger within the family. The British gossip press, on the other hand, was satisfied.

As it turns out, the 94-year-old queen is now fed up with all the media-effective family quarrel – and has seen only one way out: on-time group therapy for the holiday of love. At least that’s what New Idea magazine reports.

So at Christmas, real resentment should be eliminated from the world as part of one or more professional family therapy sessions. Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla should also participate – if so, because they are already very modern.

The modern monarch

The latter shouldn’t be surprising. It is not the first time that Elizabeth II has shown that she has the pulse of the situation. In 1976, she was the first ever head of state to send an email.

The solution-oriented queen still has a little problem. It is said that Meghan and Harry would rather spend their Christmas party relaxed and peaceful in California instead of traveling to the UK. It wouldn’t be their fault. What could be nicer than Zoff under the Christmas tree?

Although: even the modern queen will know how to help herself. After all, online therapy wasn’t just established through the crown crisis. And for over 40 years, he has mastered sending invitations via email.

On weekdays at noon there is a regular midday column on “blue news” – it revolves around well-known personalities, sometimes even unknown ones – and sometimes an asterisk appears.
