Prince Carlos turned 72 this Saturday, 14 November, a date that was highlighted on social media by the royal family.
Queen Isabella II, for example, joined the royals britanica to publicly wish his son a happy birthday.
On the official page of Instagram Her Majesty shared a sweet portrait captured at the time of Carlos’ birth. In the black and white photo, the monarch, who was 22 years old at the time, can be seen sitting with his son on his lap.
