Mounir Makram, a member of the Theatrical Professions Syndicate, confirmed that the children of artist Fayeq Azab “Khaled and Amr” are currently in one of the isolation hospitals, where their father died.
“Makram” told the “Sada Al-Balad Channel” website that the body will be transported within hours and that it will be buried in the family cemetery in Ismailia.
For his part, his son Khaled Fayek announced the death of his father, the artist, Fayek Azab, after a conflict with the Corona virus that lasted almost 10 days.
The deceased artist’s son published the announcement of death, saying, “The father, Fayek Azab, is under God’s protection. The funeral prayer takes place after the midday prayer in the cemeteries of Ismailia.
Fayeq Azab was born in Ismailia in 1943, worked as head of the acting team during his studies at Ibn Hazm Elementary School, moved to Cairo to complete his study trip, where he joined the Faculty of Arts, University of Cairo in 1960, he won the cup for best actor at university, and thus achieved his artistic professionalism at an early stage. From serials, movies and plays, he is best known for his minor and supporting roles.
