In late May, Kuwait Finance House (KFH) was reported to join the Ripple network. However, the bank has not yet chosen between xRapid and xCurrent. Now the mind is composed, the bank must go ahead with xRapid for its cross-border operations.
KFH is the first local bank to start working in accordance with Sharia law and is also a member of the local stock exchange. KFH is also the institution of the first country to test the Ripple-based DLT transaction, so it now plans to integrate the xRapid system for fast and secure transnational payments in the future.
However, Ripple does not confirm this relationship.
