Chris Jericho met Jessica Lockhart through The Disco Inferno, WCW Wrestler Glenn Gilbertti.
Jericho was performing for WCW in Tampa Bay, Florida. During a dinner in a Japanese restaurant, Jericho noticed Gilbertti talking to a beautiful lady. Jericho said he felt a surge of emotions when their eyes met.
When he realized she was just a friend of his, he asked Gilbertti to introduce them.
He wrote extensively about their first meeting and their journey in his book – A Lion’s Tale.
The first day they met, Chris Jericho and Jessica Lockhart talked for hours. In fact, he left a message on her answering machine that same night after greeting her that night.
Although Chris Jericho and Jessica Lockhart both remained in Tampa Bay, Florida, Jessica’s father is from Minnesota. Lockhart left the next day after meeting Jericho for his father’s house.
Jericho and Jessica used this period of separation to get to know each other better before moving on. They built the foundation and when she returned a few weeks later, she was already his girlfriend.
The duo married on July 30, 2000 at the St. Charles Country Club. They have three children together. Their eldest is their son, Ash Edward Irvine, born in 2003. The couple were blessed with twin daughters, SiSi and Chey, in 2006.
Jericho’s wife prefers to raise children away from the spotlight. This is why there are rarely appearances from them. In fact, Lockhart likes to stay out of the spotlight.
Because of this, not much is known publicly about Jessica Lockhart.

Chris Jericho and Jessica Lockhart renewed their vows for their 20th year along with New Year 2020.
Former WCW announcer, David Penzer, took to social media to upload some glimpses of the event and congratulate the couple on their 20 years of union.
