‘I’m ready to fight’: Entourage star Adrian Grenier jokes he would have made a MUCH better Aquaman than Jason Momoa

Adrian Grenier’s role in the HBO drama Entourage saw his character Vincent Chase achieve great success with a starring role in the DC film, Aquaman.

But with Jason Momoa directing the 2018 blockbuster in real life, the 44-year-old couldn’t help but joke that he would be better suited for the fictional superhero.

Speaking of The BINGE Guide, the American actor joked: ‘Well, you know, I’m definitely a more graceful swimmer. But hey, whatever they wanted [cast Aquaman] all right! ‘

When asked if he was ready to fight Jason, the tattooed, long-haired hunk, Adrian said cheekily, “I’m ready to get into that fight.”

Seriously, Adrian added that he is a fan of the Aquaman lead, saying, “ You know, what I like about Jason is that he’s also doing a lot of ocean work, environment work, off camera, that i am as well.

‘And in real conservation work, there is no competition. We must all work together. ‘

Adrian starred as Hollywood actor Vincent Chase in the HBO drama Entourage from 2004 to 2011, before reprising the role for the 2015 film of the same name.

In 2006, probably at the height of his fame, he landed a role in the hit film The Devil Wears Prada, starring Anne Hathaway.

“That was one of the movies that was effortlessly made,” he told The Morning Show earlier this month when asked to describe his experiences while filming the box office hit.

Unfortunately in the years since Entourage ended, Adrian has struggled to land many major roles in Hollywood.

Her most recent screen appearance was in Stage Mother, a 2020 Canadian film about drag culture, and the 2019 Hallmark film Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holiday.

Speaking to Page Six in 2015, Adrian admitted he was struggling to make bigger acting gigs because it was typified by his role on Entourage.

“It’s funny because what people don’t know is that I want to be Vince too,” he said.

‘I’m not, I play the character. At the end of the day, I go home and it’s me. I also share this fantasy: having a lifestyle without consequences? It looks fantastic!

Adrian is currently in Melbourne filming Clickbait, a Netflix miniseries that will feature a collection of stories exploring how people’s uncontrolled impulses are fueled in the age of social media.
