England beat South Africa by 5 wickets in the first T20 to advance to the three-game series.
South Africa scored 169 points for the loss of 6 wickets in the fifty of Faf du Plessis. Wayne Morgan’s team hit the target with four balls left.

Bairstow and Morgan took charge of the game with 26 points from Buran Hendricks’ over in the 16th over. Back in bowling, NGD broke Morgan’s 40 run with 20 balls. Saren Bairstow took Sam Karan’s rest effortlessly.
Linde and Ngidi of South Africa each took two wickets. Hendricks was wicket-free with 56 bowling lanes.
