Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) goes too far this week when she almost accuses Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) of trying to seduce her, hoping that Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) will push him away. Who can stop the teenager’s reign of terror?
The wedding bells are ringing for Al Chapman (Michael Wilding) and Priya Kotecha (Fiona Wade) but the groom-to-be is hiding something and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) has a second chance for a relationship.
Here are all your spoilers on Emmerdale 23-27 November 2020.
Gabby is lying, Liam took advantage of her
Copying Leyla’s signature look, wearing her lip shade, and ordering the same cocktail is one thing, but Gabby’s obsession with her boss has gotten out of hand. This week, the teenager’s attempts to have Ms. Harding all to himself go down to really dark depths when he makes a shocking and false accusation.
Liam recorded the teenager’s intense bond with his girlfriend and encouraged her to back off, and the discomfort between the two is mistaken by Leyla as her boyfriend’s inappropriate behavior towards her employee. Taking the opportunity to wreak havoc, Gabby lies that Liam tried it in hopes that Leyla will leave him. Liam is livid at his rival’s dirty tactics and denies everything, but who will Leyla believe?
Goodbye Jacob
Adding to Leyla’s growing problems is the shocking announcement from her son Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) that he will be leaving Emmerdale. The limp-haired teenager tells the family that he went to Portugal to be with his (it’s complicated) aunt / adoptive mother Alicia, despite leaving Leyla to fend for as she copes with Gabby and Liam’s mess.
So why is he really leaving, considering the bad timing? Jakey’s absence was written to welcome Plant who will be taking part in the next series of Dancing On Ice, on screen from January 2021. The boy tells a distraught Leyla that he will be away for six months, but don’t worry if it ends. in the first week skate-off and stack Gemma Collins style, it may come back sooner.
Al and Priya got engaged, but what is she hiding?
On paper, wannabe Al and elegant Princess Priya are the perfect match. The beautiful couple could be the face of a swanky clothing brand or a boutique hotel chain, sporting those megawatt smiles as they sip samples in a sparkling setting while wearing pretty clothes.
The reality is somewhat different, as shown when this week’s surprise engagement is somewhat ruined by Al’s initial reluctance to remarry after hashing it in the past. She only asks the question because Priya desperately wants to put a ring on it, despite herself having a questionable track record. Doesn’t matter, who is Al’s calling? And why does he suddenly disappear on a “business trip”? Is he secretly carrying on Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter)?
Are Aaron and Ben back?
Starting a new romance after Robert was always going to be tricky for Aaron and Robron’s army of fans. The sudden break in courtship with school friend Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon) felt like the show got cold feet for giving Mr. Dingle another love interest, but this week the boys may be back thanks to some nudging Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele), who is fed up with brooding about her older brother. Can you blame her?
Ben meets Aaron and apologizes for his friend Tom’s meddling that derailed their relationship. Liv – and the audience – hope this makes Aaron’s always frowning face smile.
