Michelle Hunziker (43) is currently Switzerland’s largest television exporter. The moderator is not only successful in this country, but is also particularly popular in Italy and Germany. No wonder: after all, Hunziker leads every Saturday night show with flying colors, no matter how big. Yesterday, however, the Swiss were unable to score at “Pretty in Plush”.
The show Sat.1 recalls the successful format “The Masked Singer”. Six celebrities sing famous hits. Instead of being in costume, they get a cute helper in the form of elaborate puppets. Other celebrities lend their voices during the performances. The focus, however, is not on a guessing game, but on how well the celebrity harmonizes with her puppet in a duet. Seem confused? This is also confirmed by numerous Twitter users who have not yet understood the concept of the show even after two hours. “I don’t even think Sat.1 really understood what the show was about,” says one user.

Hunziker’s moderation was of no help. Because Bella Michelle never gave an exact explanation of the concept during the show. “He cursed the greeting, breathless from its playing by singing opening, and then galloped so erratically on the explanation of the concept that no one really understood it,” said television critic “Spiegel” Anja Rützel (47).
Error at the end of the show
It wasn’t Hunziker’s only mistake. By the end of the program it was clear that comedian Ingolf Lück (62) and actress Janine Kunze (46) received the fewest votes from the audience and therefore had to compete against each other again. But apparently this didn’t come to Hunziker. Instead, he just sent both of them a round. “Janine and Ingolf get the last ticket for next Friday,” announced the presenter.
