Elon Musk just dropped the Bitcoin bomb on Twitter … again

[ad_2][ad_1]

Elon Musk just mentioned Bitcoin once again on Twitter. The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla recently answered Masie Williams’ question about Bitcoin with the comment:

“Throw a bitcoin at your Witcher.”

It is not the first time he has made a joke on these lines. Referring to his infatuation with Dogecoin cryptocurrency, he had previously tweeted “Toss a Dogecoin to ur Witcher”.

These lines are made in reference to the Witcher TV show and one of its main songs, “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher”.

While Musk jokes about Bitcoin, he thinks the cryptocurrency the asset has intrinsic value. Responding to “Harry Potter” author JK Rowling inquiring about Bitcoin, he wrote:

“More or less, although massive currency issuance by government central banks is making Bitcoin Internet money look solid by comparison.”

He also talked about cryptocurrency in a similar context on previous dates.

Speaking to ARK Invest, the Wall Street alternative investment firm, he said the cryptocurrency has a “brilliant” structure. He admitted, however, that he thinks cryptocurrency has drawbacks as it is extremely energy-intensive.
