SpaceX’s Starlink satellite constellation will offer its users a trial version of the broadband internet service from space, which was promised by founder and millionaire Elon Musk. According to the emails that Reuters has accessed, this service will have a monthly fee of 99 euros (about 84 euros) and the configuration kit will cost another 499 dollars (422 euros).
The email reads that “the data rate can vary between 50 megabits per second and 150”, that it would have a latency between 20 and 40 milliseconds, and that it would be able to download a full movie between 30 minutes to an hour . “There will also be short periods when there won’t even be a connection,” added the same email.

One of the users of this trial told Reuters that he paid $ 578 (€ 489) for the Starlink Internet Kit. According to the same source, those who are not satisfied with the service can be reimbursed at 75%. SpaceX did not comment on the news made by the agency.
