Who would have thought this would one day exist: employees of Queen Elizabeth II. (94) rioting against their employer in Sandringham.

Background: Due to the Crown lockdown, the Queen is currently at Windsor Castle with her husband, Prince Philip (99). They are not expected in Sandringham until Christmas for traditional Christmas celebrations.

For employees there, however, that would mean they would have to be quarantined with the Queen at Sandringham during the Christmas season and would not be able to see their families during the holidays.

The risk of them being infected by relatives and thus infecting the queen is simply too great.

But the roughly 20 employees, including housekeepers, housekeepers and janitors, reject it. From the palace it is therefore officially: “A final decision on Christmas has not yet been made”.

The queen is not only “not amused”, she should be quite angry. Because this also means for her: for the first time in 33 years she was unable to celebrate Christmas in Sandringham.
