“We condemn these opportunistic sellers who try to mislead other users. We are removing all PS5 photo listings from our marketplace and will take appropriate action against sellers,” eBay said.
The store reminded that all its users are entitled to a refund if they do not receive the item as described in the publication. This is true as long as the sale is completed via the platform.
The scammers do not hide their intentions, as they expressly indicate that they are selling console photos for a high price. However, this doesn’t stop someone excited about getting their console from closing the deal without realizing the scam.
