Dominic West’s mother-in-law Olda shared a huge tribute to the actor following his Lily James scandal.
Taking on Instagram, the mother of Dominic’s wife Catherine FitzGerald, who is reportedly planning to leave him, called him “darling” while commenting on how “lucky” she was.
The FitzGerald Glin Castle family’s Instagram account had posted a photo of Dominic and wife Catherine from a previous photo shoot with Architectural Digest.

Writing in the comments section, Olda wrote: ‘My eldest daughter and my beloved son-in-law who both work so hard to keep me in clover!

Dominic and wife Catherine joined forces after his photos kissing with actress Lily James, 31, while on vacation in Rome surfaced last month.
It follows reports that Catherine, 49, was planning to leave her husband and their marriage was “as good as done” following the welcoming shots.

Catherine’s friends have said she is ready to leave their 10-year marriage after seeing her photos on a romantic weekend with Lily.
Neighbors revealed that landscape gardener Catherine returned to the couple’s home last week after being holed up in her ancestral home of Glin Castle in County Limerick, Ireland.
A resident of the village where the couple and their four children live told MailOnline: ‘We saw him running and walking the dog. Catherine has been back for about five days and has been spotted but we haven’t seen them together.
“There are a lot of rumors about the future of their marriage, but whatever happens, it’s nice to see them do something together because they’re a popular couple.”
Another resident added: “They are known to have marital problems and we haven’t seen them together recently.”
It comes after friends claim that Catherine is “utterly devastated” at the prospect of her marriage ending because she is “still angry” at the West.
But they speculate that Catherine, who has four children with West, was tired of being the wife of an actor “with all that that entails.”
A friend told MailOnline: ‘She lives this other life where she is away at least half the year and she and the children are waiting for him.
‘She lives in a house in England for her career, when I think anyone who knows her knows she would much rather be home in Ireland.
