Devil May Cry 5 | It will have ray tracing on Xbox Series X, but not Series S.

Devil May Cry 5 will run at 120 FPS on all next generation consoles

Last September, Sony hosted a major event in the PlayStation 5 which revealed the design of the console itself, along with some games that will be released on the next generation console. During the event, Capcom revealed Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, which is an updated version of the 2019 game that will be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.

In recent weeks, Capcom has been talking about some of the features gamers can expect in this special edition, including fast loading times. Now, Capcom has confirmed that PS5 and Xbox Series X will support raytracing. Unfortunately, the same is not true of the Xbox Series S.

However, gamers looking to the Xbox Series S shouldn’t be too worried, as Capcom revealed in a tweet that it “is only scratching the surface of what they can do”. This could mean that there is a possibility that ray tracing will be added to the Xbox Series S version of the game in the future. Furthermore, the developer also said that he will explore all the features of all next generation consoles in the future.

Additionally, Capcom has revealed that all versions of Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition will support frame rates up to 120fps, 3D audio, Turbo mode, Legendary Knight difficulty level, and playable Vergil.
