We have never seen similar drone images from Basel. In a clip of about three minutes, the drone quickly flies past the cathedral towers, under the Wettstein bridge, through and over the Roche towers. Behind the recordings are the two directors Pablo Grendelmeier (24) and Martin Drescher (26) with their startup aviaticfilms gmbh.
This type of drone film technology is called “First Person View” (FPV). The plane doesn’t just float statically above the ground, it takes the viewer on an adventurous journey through the air.
