David Seaman predicts the result of the North London Derby of Tottenham vs Arsenal

Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman is backing his old club to return from the north London derby against Tottenham with all three points when they meet on Sunday.

Tottenham participate in weekend games at the top of the table and eight points clear of their neighbors.

Arsenal have not won a league match at Tottenham since March 2014 and were beaten 2-1 last season after taking the lead under Alexandre Lacazette.

The Gunners are in desperate need of a win after a poor form that saw them slide to 14th in the standings and score just 10 goals in as many games this season.

Arsenal beat Rapid Vienna 4-1 on Thursday

But despite entering the game as underdogs, Seaman believes Arsenal can win by stealth.

“The Spurs match is going to be tough,” Seaman told the Target Men podcast.

“I can’t see us keeping clean sheets, but I think we can get a 2-1 win.

“They [Spurs] they are a good unit and have a great mix of players, especially with their attack strength [Harry] Kane and [Heung-Min] Son and now with [Gareth] Bale there too.

“It will be hard to ask an Arsenal team to go there without confidence.

“But with Arsenal, you don’t know what you’re going to get and all I can think about is going to Man United and beating him 1-0 again.”
