PETALING JAYA, December 2 – Ms. B, the daughter of cosmetics millionaire Datuk Seri Vida has released her debut single please, marking his foray into the music scene.

And fans would probably say it’s better than her mother’s attempt to create a hit song – somebody remembers that I am me since 2017?

The 15-year-old, whose real name is Nur Edlynn Zamilleen Muhamad Amin, said in a press conference last night that the song is full of stories from her life. Star Awani reported.

The teenager forced herself out of her comfort zone, saying she was a shy person who lacked confidence in herself.

“The song was completed a long time ago, in fact, from December last year,” she said, accompanied by her mom.

Cik B revealed that she wanted to launch it first but was unsure, due to her shyness and fear of facing the media and the public.

“But now it’s better and I have determination: it’s time to shine.

“I believe in myself and I’m not that shy of facing the audience,” she told the media yesterday after the song was released at her home in Ipoh.

He added that the inspiration behind the song is about his life, transitioning from childhood to adulthood.

“How I was abused by our maid, my family problems with my father and so on,” said Cik B.

Written by her and her mother, the aspiring singer who lives most of her life in front of the public has said she is ready to accept criticism.

“I’m used to it – since I was 12 I’ve always been criticized.

“So I’m immune to criticism,” said Cik B.

Though often overshadowed by her flamboyant mom, Vida’s daughter hopes her new single will be well received by many and motivate those who have gone through her own experience.

Meanwhile, Vida, whose real name is Hasmiza Othman, fully supports her daughter’s interest and efforts, saying she was delighted to see Cik B.

“To be honest, she wanted to get out of her cocoon and shyness, which is why she often spent a lot of her time in her room before this,” the proud mom said.

“After stewing the song for a year and not having the strength to launch it, he finally felt it was his time to shine after dabbling in acting.”
