Game sales, giveaways and bundled offers are now ubiquitous for PC gamers. If you don’t filter the offer list, you’ll quickly overlook useful headlines in the crowd. We are therefore introducing some games that promise fun and are currently particularly cheap.
The Elder Scrolls Online
RPG online | Windows, Mac | € 7.99 (instead of € 19.99)
The Elder Scrolls Online (TESO) is a multiplayer online role-playing game that takes place in the famous fantasy world of the classic games “The Elder Scrolls”. Many of the virtues of the predecessor have been adopted: the graphic style, for example, is compared to gender colleagues such as Wow or Tera clearly darker and remember Skyrim. From there you also get to know the combat system with its magical abilities. Additionally, the online version of Elder Scrolls includes features you’d expect from an MMORPG as standard, such as joint raids and player-versus-player battles. A housing system is also included in the game, offering an individually adaptable shelter, as well as crafting mechanics.

By the way, you can also have fun if you don’t get organized with other players, but explore the huge game world on your own. The search and level system for beginners helps beginners. The game receives regular content updates and has been expanded with three add-ons so far in 2020, the latest in November with the Markarth DLC (paid).
The Elder Scrolls Online is available on Steam until December 9, 2020 for 7.99 euros.
Blackout Z: Slaughterhouse Edition
Indie action | Windows | free
The indie action game is available on Steam until January 4, 2021 Blackout Z: Slaughterhouse Edition free. Blackout Z is as simple as it is fun: From a top-down perspective, players control the trigger-happy protagonist who has to stand up to countless zombies. Weapons, a flashlight, and his abilities help him do this. The ammo is gone and the batteries for the flashlight are also dwindling over time, which is why it becomes increasingly difficult to advance in the semi-darkness.

It is particularly difficult to distinguish the bloodthirsty blades in the dark, which players want to avoid. You should therefore be careful with the batteries for the flashlight, otherwise the pixelated carnage in the dark will soon become your undoing.

Viewers won’t already know the title: in survival horror game 7 days to die Players must defend themselves against the invasion of hordes of zombies. In the fight against the undead, raw materials are as important as they are scarce. As a player, you then explore the wasteland to find all kinds of items and equipment. Collected items can be used directly as tools and weapons or as ingredients for crafting other useful items. Over the course of the game, you can build houses and equipment to ward off zombies.

7 days to die is available until December 8, 2020 for € 7.81 in the Humble Store.
Keep talking and nobody explodes
Cooperative puzzles | Windows, Mac, Linux | € 7.49 (instead of € 14.99)
TO Keep talking and nobody explodes players must defuse bombs together under the pressure of time. The trick is that only one player sits in front of the screen and can actually see the bomb. There are several bomb mini-puzzles, which differ in composition and execution from round to round. To be able to solve puzzles, one or more other players must read a manual to find out what exactly needs to be done with each puzzle. They must convey the information as quickly and accurately as possible to the player who has the bomb in front of them on the virtual table.

Turok
First Person Shooter | Windows, Mac, Linux | € 5.99 (instead of € 17.09)
Turok has been sending players hunting dinosaurs for more than 20 years. 1997 appeared Turok: dinosaur hunter for the N64Console and in the same year also for PC. For the time, the look was impressive, which is why the game was extremely popular and sold around 1.5 million times. A remastered version for PC was released in 2015, offering higher resolution and refined effects. Input lag, which was partly criticized in the original, hasn’t been an issue since: modern hardware ensures a smoother gaming feel, as the game’s system requirements are barely noteworthy for conditions today.

Turok takes place in the first person and offers numerous different weapons typical of shooters to put an end to dinosaurs and other primeval beings. In between there are always small puzzles or closed doors for which you need to find the right key, so that in addition to the explosion, there is also a small tomb raider feeling.
Turok is available until December 7, 2020 for € 5.99 on GoG. The successor, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, is available for purchase from GoG in the same period for 8.59 euros.
