Covid-19: the vaccination strategy

[ad_1]

In its recommendations, the HAS presented a program divided into four other phases, following the first phase dedicated to people in nursing homes. If the second phase proposed is in line with that presented by the Government (people over 75, then people 65-74 with comorbidities, then other people 65-74 years, etc.), HAS was still planning three phases while the government chose to open vaccination to the entire population in phase 3.

Offered to third stage for:

  • people targeted in earlier stages who could not be vaccinated;
  • all people over 50 and under 50 at risk of serious illness;
  • professionals from sectors essential for the functioning of the country (education and security in particular).

In fourth stage, recommended vaccinating people highly exposed to the virus (in regular contact with the public, working indoors, etc.) but also vulnerable and precarious people who have not been vaccinated before. Finally, the fifth stage it should allow vaccination of persons over the age of 18 who do not present a risk.
