In recent days, the National Capital has observed 68 new cases on Saturday, 74 on Sunday and 82 on Monday. The region has 109 active cases per 100,000 inhabitants, which puts it in a better position than Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, where there are 312 active cases per 100,000 inhabitants, which worries the government.
In Chaudière-Appalaches, the number of new cases per day is also quite stable, less than 100 new cases per day. There is a rate of 132 active cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Over the past three days, 65 new cases have been added for this region on Saturday, 69 on Sunday and 69 on Monday.
The Chaudière-Appalaches region has accumulated 4,127 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic. On the National-Capital side, 9,422 cases have been confirmed since March.
