The Quebec government is studying the possibility of authorizing Christmas dinners for ten people from three different families, but no decision has yet been made.

This is what the prime minister, François Legault, indicated on Monday when questioned on the information reported for the first time by Radio-Canada.
“There are several hypotheses that are examined [mais] obviously it is too early to decide the number of people. Will it be five? Will it be ten? […] This is part of the discussions we have with public health and I can assure you that no decision has been made, “he explained.
The same response was offered by the Prime Minister regarding the possibility that schools will be closed from 11 December to 11 January, as recalled by Radio-Canada.
“Is it better that schools close them sooner or later?” It is too early to answer these questions, “the CAQ leader said.
As for the possibility of making announcements on these issues this week, François Legault remained cautious.
“The situation [de la pandémie au Québec], as you know, a lot has changed in the last few weeks. We will monitor the situation in the coming days and then, when we have the best possible picture of what will happen around December 25th, we will let you know ”, he concluded.
