The Local Hospital in South-West Mayennais is facing the effects of the “second wave” of Covid-19. Two hospitalized patients tested positive at the Renazé site, two others, also positive, from another facility. Thirteen positive residents, of which ten at the Renazé site and three at the Craon site. In total, 609 patients / residents were tested.
Screening campaign in progress
To deal with the epidemiological situation, a generalized screening campaign is underway at CHLSOM and in compliance with the ARS guidelines. The first phase involved all residents and professional contacts at the Craon site. A possible campaign, thanks to the mobilization of the staff of the Hospital Center, but also of pensioners and liberal doctors.
Visits remain suspended for all patients / residents until the results are received.
