The results of the coronavirus outbreak are deteriorating in Charente.
In the past 24 hours, three new people have been admitted to intensive care at the Angoulême hospital center according to data from Public Health France. This brings the number of patients in sheaves to 11 in our ward. This is the highest figure for this indicator in Charente since the beginning of the epidemic in March.
In addition, there are now 36 people hospitalized for covid in the Charente-Maritime establishments.
Again, this is the highest total recorded, the first and second waves combined. To give an idea, the number of hospitalized patients has more than doubled since the beginning of hospitalization. As of October 30, there were only 14 hospitalized. On the other hand, the death toll is stable and still stands at 20 since October 28.
